DUAL COCKPIT LAYOUT FOR AN EXHILARATING DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Embodying an uncluttered, contemporary design language, the interior of the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is defined by a layout that combines intuitive controls with a technologically advanced interface, underscoring the car’s dual sporting and versatile nature. A new steering wheel features the return of physical controls, including the iconic red anodized aluminium start button, which drives an instant emotional bond between driver and car. Other tactile controls are distributed thoughtfully to ensure ergonomic comfort and immediate usability in all conditions.

The onboard experience of the Ferrari Amalfi Spider, like that of the Ferrari Amalfi, has been designed to deliver intuitive, engaging and technologically advanced interaction. A completely renewed interface system and a range of thoughtfully crafted solutions work together to elevate the comfort and quality of life on board.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE SPECIES

The engine of the Ferrari Amalfi is a distillation of pure power, with seamlessly progressive delivery and immediate response. The new engine control unit, advanced turbocharging management and new pressure sensors push the twin-turbo V8 to a commanding 640 hp, for a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.3 seconds.

This is the latest evolution of the 3855 cm³ twin-turbo V8 from the F154 family, one of the most award-winning power plants in recent automotive history. In this configuration, the engine has been optimised to deliver a maximum output of 640 cv at 7,500 rpm, with a specific power output of 166 hp/l and a rev limiter raised to 7,600 rpm, allowing it to make the most of its relentlessly increasing power curve.

ACTIVE AERODYNAMICS, HARMONIOUSLY INTEGRATED

The active aerodynamic package features a deployable rear wing that disappears seamlessly into the tail of the car – present when required, invisible otherwise. Three configurations are controlled automatically in response to speed, longitudinal acceleration and lateral force.

The new Spider was developed with a singular ambition: to create a fabric roof convertible capable of delivering aerodynamic performance comparable to that of the Ferrari Amalfi, whilst also delivering the highest level of open-air refinement.

PRECISION AND CONFIDENCE IN ALL CONDITIONS

Precise, responsive and deeply engaging: the Ferrari Amalfi Spider brings together the most advanced suite of dynamic control systems that the Maranello-based marque has to offer to ensure stability and exceptional driving pleasure in every possible situation.

A newly calibrated Electric Power Steering system increases the speed at which grip estimation is calculated by 10%, sharpening the connection between driver and road.

Central to the advanced technological suite of the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is the introduction of brake-by-wire, which significantly improves braking efficacy, reduces pedal travel and improves modulation.
