Coppa Team Championship

Scuderia 1999

Scuderia 1999 consists of Ferrari of Seattle client drivers who participate in a single-marque motorsport championship. The drivers compete in 30-minute timed races at some of the top circuits in North America. Drivers are split into one of four class groups based on experience and times. From entry level to top tier, the classes are Coppa Shell Am, Coppa Shell, Trofeo Pirelli Am and Trofeo Pirelli. The team name comes from the year the Perrina family took on the Ferrari brand in 1999.

Ferrari of Seattle was honored to have 7 local drivers race throughout the 2022 season. After traveling around the country together and sharing track-side garages, they became a tight-knit team that celebrated in victory together.

Notable highlights from the season come from tracks like Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX and Sonoma Raceway in California. These race weekends had higher participation and allowed the team to score vital points toward the Coppa Team Championship. Race weekends consist of practice sessions, qualifying laps and 2 races.

Together, our drivers consistently finished in the points. In stunning fashion, one of our newest drivers to the series, M. Petramalo, finished on the podium more often than not. One of his highlighted races was at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, as the weekend shares the stage with Formula 1. But it was on the West coast that he clinched his Coppa Shell Driver Championship. The weekend was shared with many friends and extended family members to celebrate in the victory.

Finali Mondiali, “World Finals”, brings drivers from across the globe for a 3-day racing event outside of Bologna, Italy at the famous Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola Circuit). Ferrari of Seattle sent 3 drivers to finish the season strong. After podium finishes and strong points, Ferrari of Seattle proudly took home the Coppa Team Championship! The award was presented to the Perrina family at the Finali Mondiali Gala by some of Ferrari's top executives.

It’s been an incredible year to say the least; full of great people, great highs and some lows, great bounce-backs, and a fantastic team spirit that carried us to the championship. We are so exceptionally proud of everyone involved; from our drivers and technicians, crew at the track and the support team back in the dealership, and our many partners along the way! Thank you all for your encouragement and support as we secured our first Coppa Team championship!
