Coppa Team Championship

Scuderia 1999 consists of Ferrari of Seattle client drivers who participate in a single-marque motorsport championship. The drivers compete in 30-minute timed races at some of the top circuits in North America. Drivers are split into one of four class groups based on experience and times. From entry level to top tier, the classes are Coppa Shell Am, Coppa Shell, Trofeo Pirelli Am and Trofeo Pirelli. The team name comes from the year the Perrina family took on the Ferrari brand in 1999.

2022 was a year full of celebrations and firsts for Ferrari of Seattle. We competed and pushed each other as a team, both on and off the track. Finali Mondiali at Imola was the final toast to a great year and allowed us to return as Coppa Team Champions and for M. Petramalo as the North America Coppa Shell Champion.

Highlights from 2023 include podiums at nearly every race weekend! Homestead-Miami, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Sonoma Raceway and Mugello being weekends with most points scored across the 4 classes. Sonoma Raceway carried significance with the team as Cook took home his first 1st place finish after starting in pole position.

From multiple race wins to multiple driver championship podiums, the 2024 season has been the best season to date for the Ferrari of Seattle – Scuderia 1999 team. The new Ferrari 296 Challenge car suited the team well as did the schedule with 2 California tracks. Finali Mondiali at Imola showcased the best parts of racing with Ferrari, leaving with a P2 in class at World Finals and Coppa Team Championship trophy didn’t hurt either.

The 2025 season has been a dream for many of our drivers and for the team’s overall goal of a back-to-back Coppa Team Championships. The highlight of the season was Watkins Glen where the Trofeo Pirelli drivers completed a double podium lock-out dubbed The Seattle Sweep, along with drivers on the podium for Trofeo Pirelli Am and Coppa Shell. There were many hard-fought battles on the track leading to the driver championships only decided at the final races at Mugello Circuit.
