May 10  - Kent, WA. Pacific Raceways’ iconic 2.25-mile road course got a shot of Italian racing heritage on Wednesday, May 10 with the naming of Turn 9 as Ferrari of Seattle Corner. A large billboard on the main grandstand denotes the naming element of the turn, one of the most prominent locations at Pacific Raceways. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held with customers, professional and amateur race car drivers and invited guests of Ferrari of Seattle. The history of the 10-turn road course stretches back to 1960 as the track hosted a variety of sports car events that brought a Who’s Who of racing marques and drivers to the Kent track, including Mario Andretti, and Al Unser, to name a few. Ferrari of Seattle is the only Ferrari dealer in Washington State, owned and operated by three generations of the Perrina family since 1999.
