Pacific Raceways’ iconic 2.25-mile road course got a shot of Italian racing heritage on Wednesday, May 10 with the naming of Turn 9 as Ferrari of Seattle Corner. A large billboard on the main grandstand denotes the naming element of the turn, one of the most prominent locations at Pacific Raceways. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held with customers, professional and amateur race car drivers and invited guests of Ferrari of Seattle.
The history of the 10-turn road course stretches back to 1960 as the track hosted a variety of sports car events that brought a Who’s Who of racing marques and drivers to the Kent track, including Mario Andretti, and Al Unser, to name a few.

Pacific Raceways is home to ProFormance Racing School which serves as the leading training ground for High Performance Sport Driving and racer training in the Northwest. In addition, the school also offers credentials for drivers wanting to secure a racing license. Giving Back – Tis the Season
For the first time – Ferrari of Seattle participated in #GivingTuesday – with an offer to provide $1000 to Mary’s place – an organization that empowers women, children and families to change their lives in the Greater Seattle Area. In addition, Maserati of Seattle will be a Bronze Sponsor of their annual gala fundraiser – this year called Denim to Diamonds.
In an ongoing effort to support the local community – Last year, Ferrari and Maserati of Seattle hosted a donation drive in part with Treehouse for Kids. Through generous network support we collected just over $4500 in youth clothing, holiday gifts, and monetary donations. The 2015 FerrariMaserati of Seattle holiday donation drive contributed in providing approximately 45 local area foster children with a merry & bright holiday season.
Gift tags were added to our festive holiday tree in our store window in the Capitol Hill district. These tags are the individual wish lists and needs of foster children in the greater Seattle area. Friends and customers shared in the joy of the holiday season by filling our donation bin set up next to the tree.
We are delighted to ring in the New Year with promise of a better future for those less fortunate – and thank you for your support all year long.
2016 Ferrari Global Technician Challenge
Ferrari of Seattle is pleased to announce that Nick Martinson, at the 2016 Ferrari Global Technician Challenge, has placed third. In the history of this event, Ferrari of Seattle has participated three times, as reserve world champion, and third twice. Ferrari of Seattle is the only dealership to have represented the United States on the podium, presenting well for Ferrari North America all three times.
The Ferrari Technician Challenge, a competition Ferrari created in 2007 to recognize the finest technical talent throughout the global network. It is open to any Ferrari Technician with at least five years’ experience. Over the two day event, the finalists were rigorously tested through a series of theoretical and practical challenges in order to demonstrate their knowledge and skills of Ferrari products.
The tests focused on a variety of different areas, including the current and previous model ranges, Ferrari Genuine Maintenance and Ferrari Genuine Accessories, in addition to knowledge of the history of Ferrari’s road and race cars.

Ferrari of Seattle Named Top Dealership in the World
Ferrari’s Famed F1 Race Car to Make Special Pit Stop at Award-Winning Dealership
SEATTLE, Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — It’s fast times in the Emerald City. Ferrari of Seattle has announced it has been named “Ferrari Top Dealer- World Champion 2013.” For taking home top honors, the local Seattle dealership will receive a congratulatory visit from one of Ferrari’s famed Formula 1 racing cars in early 2014, which be on display for public viewing.
The award was announced at the Ferrari World Dealer Convention in Maranello, Italy and dealership co-owner Tino Perrina was on hand to accept the honors. The Ferrari of Seattle dealership edged out more than 220 dealerships around the world to earn the honors, which are based on a combination of factors including sales volumes, market penetration, client satisfaction and local marketing initiatives.
Established in 1999, the Capitol Hill-based dealership has consistently performed well among the Ferrari network. In addition to the Top Dealer honor, Ferrari of Seattle’s Mark Glenwood was also recently named as the number two Ferrari technician in the world, based on challenges in both practical and theoretical tests. In 2011 the dealership was awarded another prestigious honor, “Top Dealer in North and South America.”
“We are very proud of what we’ve accomplished, and getting a local visit from a Ferrari F1 is truly something special,” said co-owner Roberto Perrina, who has worked with his brother at the family-run dealership since its inception. “This F1 underlines Ferrari’s incredible racing DNA and will be a rare opportunity to view the car up close and personal at our dealership.”
